After the war, what election did Roosevelt win?

Roosevelt campaigned and won election as governor of New York. During his tenure as governor, he continued his reform-minded ways, rid the city of racial segregation in the public schools, and pushed for stronger regulations for workplace safety. He also dealt easily and effectively with the media—something not all presidents have been able to do through the years.
