Central Asian Creation and Devil-Tricksters

What role do the tricksters play in the myths?

Tricksters play an undermining devil-like role in most Central Asian creation myths, always the most important myths for any society. As such, the trickster is a close mythological relative of the amoral tricksters we find in Africa and in Native North America.
