Was there an Inca flood myth?

As noted above, Viracocha sent a flood to destroy the original race of giants who had become unruly. Another flood myth recorded in pictographs tells how a man and woman floating in a box survived the flood and were sent to Tiahuanaco to live and to create a new race.
