Is it possible to simplify logarithms?

Yes, as in algebraic equations, it is possible to simplify logarithms, but in different ways. The following lists some examples:

  • To simplify log3(x) + log3(y) = log3(xy)
  • To simplify log3(6) - log3(4) = log3(6/4)
  • To simplify 2log3(x) = log3(x2)
