How did God provide for Elijah?

God sent ravens to feed Elijah. (I Kings 17:4) The ravens brought Elijah food in the morning and in the evening. Elijah drank water from a wadi, a stream bed that is filled only during the rainy season.

Later, God sent Elijah to a poor widow’s house. The widow was almost out of food for herself and her son, but while Elijah stayed with them, there was enough food for all three of them. At one point, the widow’s son got sick and died. Elijah prayed to God, and the son came back to life.
