What is digital art?

Digital art is art made by using digital technologies, such as a computer. Digital art is now more commonly referred to as “new media art” and can include two-dimensional images, whether printed or not (made with software programs such as Adobe Photoshop, for example), three-dimensional works, or even multimedia works such as animations or videos made using computer software.
