Why is it impossible for a man to urinate and ejaculate at the same time?

Prior to ejaculation, the internal sphincter closes the opening between the bladder and the urethra. It does not relax and open again until ejaculation is completed. This prevents urine from entering the urethra during ejaculation while also preventing ejaculatory fluid from flowing back into the urinary bladder.
