What prevents the lobes of the lungs from rubbing against each other?

The lobes of the lungs do not normally rub against each other due to the presence of pleural fluid. Pleural fluid is secreted by the membranes that cover the lungs. It reduces the friction between the lobes of the lung and the body cavity.
